TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
