The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
